can this be used to mount a single center channel speaker in front of a fireplace?

BEST ANSWER: Hi Josh, this speaker mounting brackets can expand up to 11" and can carry up to 55lbs As long center channel would fit into it, then you can use this one. I hope this helps. :)

There are two ears/brackets/clamps that expand to about the width of 11" to place the speaker into. A center channel likely wouldn't sit inside that gap without some DIY customization like using a piece of wood attached to the bottom of the speaker that would sit in that gap. Even then you may exceed the leverage this mount is capable of handling if the speaker is too far forward. As for their intended use, these mounts work great for my Klipsch bookshelf speakers and haven't budged an inch since I installed them.

Can this wall mount be used with the Monolith 365T speakers? the size and weight seem to be well within the specified limits of the mount but wasn't sure about the curved cabinet of the 365T

What is the maximum up/down speaker tilt this mount can handle? Speakers are 8 1/2 lbs each. Description says 30 degrees. The manual says 7.5 degrees.

BEST ANSWER: They should. My studio monitors are 10 inches deep & I have room between the back of the speaker & the wall.

Great Speaker Stands
Very sturdy and easy to install. The only issue I have is that the plastic covers for the wall bracket seem loose and do not cover the mounting screws securely! Did I miss something in the installation? I cannot find any resolution from the mounting instructions.

Great product.
Well made, easy to install. I returned some cheap ones feom another company that didn't work and got these from Monoprice instead. Much better quality from Monoprice.
